KRAV MAGA

 

Krav Maga /krɑːv məˈɡɑː/ (Hebrew: קְרַב מַגָּע [ˈkʁav maˈɡa]  "contact combat") is a self-defense system developed for the Israeli military which consists of a wide combination of techniques sourced from different martial arts along with realistic fight training. Krav Maga is known for its focus on real-life situations and extremely efficient counter-techniques.

 

Krav Maga is the official self-defense and combat system used by the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF), Israeli Police, Security Services and numerous law enforcement agencies around the world. Developed and refined during years of conflict, Krav Maga emphasizes easy-to-learn techniques that have been battle tested in real life threatening situations. These training methods have been used by Israel's most elite combat units and proven effective time and time again.

 

Krav Maga fundamental principles relays on the human reflexes, fast reaction, effective solutions, targeting week points to create balance between victim and aggressor and NO RULSE. All Krav Maga techniques are easy-to-learn and can be taught to anyone no matter size, gender or age. Krav Maga allows its trainees to achieve, in a simple way, high level of skills in a relatively short period of time.

 

Krav Maga involves all physical training components; Endurance, Strength, Velocity, Flexibility, Agility and Coordination along with intensive under-stress drills which prepares the student to survive real-life threatening situations. 

 

Apart from the techniques, Krav Maga educates its students to be aware of their surroundings and prevent themselves of getting into violent situations. Krav Maga training focus on tactical position and maximum effectiveness and efficiency in order to neutralize the opponent as quickly as possible, maintaining awareness of surroundings while dealing with the threat in order to look for escape routes, multiple attackers, objects that could be used to foil the attack and much more.
